Here's also a great way to paint a heart on a card or on a bag like illustrated here:
Did you know paper bags can go through the printer?
Design your bag and set the page to print upside down.
Insert the straight edge of the bag into the printer feed
positioned so the smooth surface will get the printout.
(Hey! You're on your own if you try this,
I'm sure its not recommended in your printer manual lol)
